OnePlus5 OxygenOS 4.5.7 Update
This year Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus launched its budget flagship killer smartphone OnePlus 5 on 20th June 2017 globally with the OxygenOS 4.5.0 base on Android Nougat 7.1.1 out of the box. After that, the flagship killer also got several OTA updates.
Now OnePlue is pushing out another OTA update of OxygenOS version 4.5.7 internationally with new features, latest Android security patch, bug fixes, and some additional improvements.

OnePlus announced OxygenOS 4.5.7 OTA for OnePlus 5, through its official forums. This new software update contains new OnePlus Slate font, Android security patch level to 1st July 2017, Added EIS for 4k video recording, Standby battery enhancements to increase standby time and battery life. OxygenOS 4.5.7 OTA brings fixed some other update like below:

  1. New additions:
    • Introducing the all new OnePlus Slate font.
    • Added EIS for 4k video recording.
  2. Updates:
    • Updated Android security patch level to 1st July 2017.
    • Updated to latest GMS package.
  3. Optimizations:
    • Wi-Fi connectivity improvements.
    • Standby battery enhancements.
  4. Bug Fixes:
    • Fixed occasional sound leaks in the speakers when using earphones.
    • Fixed camera shutter sound bug in silent mode for Indian region.
    • Fixed missing sound channels when recording videos


This new OxygenOS 4.5.7 OTA update will be incremental. The OTA will reach a small percentage of users today, and They'll begin a broader rollout in a few days. So, it'll take some time to hit you OnePlus 5 automatically notified once the update is available. Although, you can check it manually by going About Phone section under setting.
