After the revolution in Indian telecom industry, Reliance Launched JioPhone has created a big competition in feature phone market. In response to Reliance Jio's JioPhone, Indian brand Intex has launched its first 4G VoLte Feature phone or Smart Feature Phone Turbo Plus 4G. Intex Turbo + 4G is launched by Intex under Navratna series. Recently Indian Telecom Idea also announced to launch 4G feature phone or affordable phone.
Talk about the specification of Intex Turbo + 4G, The first 4G smart feature phone features with a Dual core processor, coupled with 512 MB RAM and 4GB of internal memory. Apart from this, a MicroSD card of up to 32 GB can be used to increase the storage of the phone.memory. The Intex Turbo + 4G device runs on KaiOS.
The smartphone has a 2.4-inch QVGA Display. This new Intex 4G Smart Feature phone has a 2-megapixel rear camera. A VGA camera has been given for Selfie. The phone got the support of 4G VoLTE network which claims to get high voice quality. There is a 2000 mAh battery to power the phone.
Intex also introduced some 2G feature phones under the same Navratna series. The company has not disclosed the price of the Intex Turbo + 4G VoLTE Smart Feature phone but has informed that the price of 4G and 2G phones will be between Rs 700 and Rs 1,500.
The Sart feature Phone is not new in the Indian market, Previously, Reliance Jio announced their JioPhone in July 2017, Lava launched their LAVA Connect M1 4G Smart Feature phone in Feabury, 2017. Last week another Indian Telecom service provider Idea also announced to launch 4G feature phone in collaborating with feature phone manufacturer.
Ultimately, this kind of competition in any kind industry is always great for the customers. It is the best opportunity for the Indian Customer to purchase 4G feature phone as a secondary phone, with out upgrading their favorite 3G smartphone (Not interest to spend too much money for a new phone).
