Idea Cellular has come up with a new data plan for its prepaid customers. The company has introduced a new Rs. 396 plan. Customers will get 70 GB data with unlimited calls. The package is clear that the company is trying to challenge Reliance Jio, which is known for economical plans. The validity of the new plan is 70 days and every day you get 1 GB data limit. Customer Service Officer of Idea told us that customers will get 3G data. Idea's plan will be compared to Reliance Jio's 309 pack. Under this, the Jio Prime Subscriber gets unlimited data every day for a month, in which users gets 1 GB data at 4G speed.
Idea Recharge Pack of Rs 396 will offer unlimited calling facility for 70 days. But this unlimited calling will be only for Idea Network between Idea to Idea. On the other hand, 3000 minutes local or STD calls will be given on other networks. It will be also valid for 70 days. Out of this, the customer gets maximum 300 minutes in a day and can interact 1200 minutes in a week.
The interesting thing is that Idea is not promoting a pack of 396 rupees via SMS. If you want to know if this offer is available for your number, then you have to call the customer care center. If the customer service officer confirms that this offer is available for your number, then you have to recharge in the same day before 11.59pm. If you miss it for any reason, then you have to call again to the customer care center on next day to ask about the availability of this offer.
This offer has come at a time when Reliance Jio Dhan Dhan Dhan Offer and Summer Surprise Offer is at its last stage. However, still, on the Jio Network, the customers are still benefiting from the Dhan Dhana Dhan offer. It seems that through the new Recharge Pack, Idea wants to stop its customers from porting into the Reliance Jio Network.
