After Samsung Note 7 battery incident, they too much serious for the battery which will use in upcoming Samsung S8. Some new information leaked about battery capacity of Samsung S8. There is also some information about the AI which might be called as Samsung Hello for the Galaxy S8.
According THE INVESTOR, a 3000mAh battery will use for the Samsung S8 which will come with 5.7in display. For the Samsung S8 plus, a 3500mAh battery will use for its 6.2 inch display. If you remember about Samsung Note 7 battery capacity, which was also a 3500mAh battery. But this time they are much serious on it and make the entire necessary test before release.
“After completing a rage of tests, Samsung made a final decision to deploy the battery capacity for the two S8 variants,” a Samsung official was quoted by Korean news outlet News1.
In the other side some information leaked about the new Bixby, AI assistant from Samsung. According the leaked information, Samsung filed a trademark in Europe for Samsung Hello, which may be the AI powered service (not clear) for the upcoming Samsung S8. Samsung Hello is a “software that enable block users or computers and mobile devices to access, aggregate, organize and interact with content, information and images and topics of general interest to such users”, mention in filing.
In other word, Samsung Hello is describe as a “application software that gives personalized features and information based on user’s preferences in the fields of weather, music, entertainment, games, travel, science, health, contact, and social news via voice command and voice recognition” ,according the filing information.
Samsung already confirm that Samsung S8 will not announce in MWC 2017, but the expected date of announcement is 29th March 2017. Though, it device is available after 24th April 2017, staring from $799(approx). Samsung is also planning to manufacture upto 60million units to ship this year.
