After so many rumors and leaks, Today Samsung officially launched their latest flagship smartphone of 2017 Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+. With the new flagship, Samsung introduced their own digital assistant Bixby. Samsung made some serious changes in the design as well as on its display with this eighth of Samsung Galaxy 'S'series. Samsung also replaced their traditional 'Home' button and placed at the back beside the camera. Samsung has gone with the onscreen navigation keys instead of hardware capacitive keys to make the phones more compact.
The Galaxy S8 and S8+ both are powered by latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It also comes with the Exynos 8895 in some European and Asian regions. Both CPU are based on the 10-nanometer technology. Samsung used the Super AMOLED QHD+ display with 18:9 ratio to feel compact in hands with the bigger screen. S8 got a 5.8inch display and the S8+ got a 6.2inch display.
Samsung also comes with the best possible camera setup for this two flagship. Samsung sports with a 12MP dual-pixel camera with f/1.7 aperture and Optical Image Stabilisation as a rear camera and 8MP autofocus camera with f/1.7 aperture and the screen flash feature as a font-facing camera. The fingerprint sensor installs beside the rear camera.
In additional both the Samsung Galaxy comes with the IRIS scanner, which was first used on Samsung Note 7. The devices also IP68 certified which makes its water resistant for 30 min. it also has the 3.5mm audio jack and USB type C for charging and data syncing. Connectivity wise, the S8 and S8+ features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, and 4G LTE.
The Galaxy S8 is estimated at 809 Euro (approx. Rs. 57,200), though the S8+ retails for 909 Euro (approx. Rs. 64,200). Both the flagship will be available in five different colors: dark, silver, blue, maple gold, and orchid shade. In the US the phone will be available to buy from April 21. But there is no information when it's available for others country.
