Today twitter announced some changes inside the twitter to improve the user experience. In these changes, users can control what they want to see on twitter. They began the work from November 2016.
Twitter made three changes inside the Twitter.
1) Stop to the creation new abusive accounts: Twitter takes steps to identify the account which are used only for abuse and harassment purpose. They will suspended these accounts and try to stop then to create a new account on Twitter.
2) Introduce safe search: Twitter also working on safe search result which removes tweets that contain “potentially sensitive content” and it also help to blocked tweets which are from a blocked and muted accounts. This option will be turned on by default but if you can find the tweets by turned off the safe search option.
3) Collapse potentially abusive or low-quality Tweets: Twitter will identify and collapse potentially abusive and low-quality replies so the most relevant conversations are brought forward. These Tweet replies will in any case be open to the individuals who search them out. This change can be noticed in the coming week.
According to the Twitter “Making Twitter a safer place is our primary focus. We stand for freedom of expression and people being able to see all sides of any topic. That’s put in jeopardy when abuse and harassment stifle and silence those voices. We won’t tolerate it and we’re launching new efforts to stop it.”
