Finally Honor 8 (FRD-L04) got the update of EMUI 5.0 which is grounded on Android 7.0 Nougat. This update is presently available for U.S users only. This updates comes with lot of new features which make it more operative to its user.
The new update comes with some UI changes for EMUI 5.0. Some major changes are Home Screen Interface, App Drawer, Recent Apps, Notification Shade and many more. A new feature is added to the EMUI 5.0 called App twin which allow user to access two different accounts at the same time from the same mobile. Although, this new feature only works for Facebook and WhatsApp.
With this new Nougat update, user will bale to add an optional app drawer, customized quick controls and work in multiple window at the same time. Though, update is available only for US variant but other variant can expected to get the update within few weeks.
