Officially Confirmed: Nokia 3 Will Get Android 7.1.1 Update by The End of August

HMD’s CPO Juho Sarvikas confirmed , Nokia 3 Will Get Android Nougat 7.1.1 Update by The End of August. Update will be released OTA when all the market specific approvals are in place. At the launch event in MWC 2017, HMD Global promised to deliver the monthly security update and Android OS update for the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and the Nokia 6. As per promised, the first OS Update for Nokia 3 will be rolled out by the end of August. 

The HMD’s CPO Juho Sarvikas confirmed, Android 7.1.1 Nougat update Nokia 3, will be released in August. He also confirmed that the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update will available for Globally. On a reply, Juho Sarvikas said: "we will release when we have all market specific approvals in place."

Till now we believe that the most of the MediaTek devices don't get Android OS update because it's the MediaTek doesn’t work on future software updates. But HMD Global proves it totally wrong, If smartphone manufacturer takes care of its customers and wants to provide the best services.

The Android 7.1.1 Nougat update will be rolled out through the OTA update, Users will get an update notification, after being released. But Users can also check for Android 7.1.1 Nougat update manually (after release).
