YouTube is the second largest search engine after the tech giant Google. Also, everybody loves to watch YouTube videos for their knowledge, News, entertainment, etc. So, every Youtube lover spent a lot of hours on YouTube. At the end of the day, most of the users feel staining on their eyes because of the white theme of YouTube.

Finally, YouTube takes care of this with introducing the YouTube dark mode. However, YouTube dark mode is not published officially but you can enable the new dark mode by simply follow few steps which I mention bellow. 

The new dark mode not only turns on the white mode to the dark mode but youtube makes some changes in the upcoming dark mode theme. The new dark mode is woking on fine with the Chrome browser as well as in the Mozilla Firefox. I personally tested on the both browsers and its works properly without any issue.

How to Enable Dark Mode in YouTube

1. At first, Open your Chrome or Firefox browser on Windows or MAC
2. At the next open YouTube.
3. Now, Write click on YouTube page and Click On "Inspect"
4. Under the "Inspect" window click on "Console" tab.
5. Next, You have to type the following code on the ''Console" tab and hit enter.

6. Now, close the inspect window and reload the youtube page.
7. After reloading the Youtube you can see some changes on the youtube theme.
8. Now click on your profile icon(if you are signed in) or three dot menu at right corner and click on dark mode.
9. After that, you have to enable the dark mode. 
10. That's it. Enjoy the YouTube dark mode.

How to Disable Dark Mode in YouTube

1. Click on your profile icon(if you are signed in) or three dot menu at right corner and click on dark mode.
2. After that, a popup will come and you have to disable the dark mode. 
3. That's it. 

Note : If you want to disable the feature entirely due to the hacking threat, clear all history in the respective browser.
