Samsung has already been certified by the Federal Communications Commission, Bluetooth SIG, and Wi-Fi Alliance. The tablet was submitted to Taiwan’s National Communication Propagation Committee for regulatory approval. The NCC has now approved the certificate for the Galaxy Tab S3 (SM-T820) with dual-band Wi-Fi capabilities to sell the Tab S3 over Taiwan.
Live images of the Galaxy Tab S3 have been leaked from NCC which reveals its design and very few specs. The tablet comes with a glass sandwich design, earlier used in their high-end smartphone. That means both the front and the back of the device are covered with glass and a metal frame is placed in the middle. It also picks up scratches very easily and hard to hold it tightly. Samsung may launch the Wi-Fi-only model for Taiwan.
The Galaxy Tab S3 is expected to feature a 9.7-inch 2048x1536 pixel resolution display along with the Snapdragon 820 chipset, 4GB of RAM, up to 64GB of storage. It also expected to have a 12 MP rear camera, and a 5 MP front-facing unit. It will ship with an S-Pen stylus in the box.
Samsung is ready to announce the Galaxy Tab S3 at the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona, next Sunday.
