The most exciting smartphone launch event MWC has been started with launching the BlackBerry KEYone, a flagship smartphone from BlackBerry. Though the KEYone is designed by BlackBerry and manufactured by TEC (A Chinese company), also holds the Alcatel brand. It design with ai anodized aluminum frame and a soft touch textured back. It probably the last smartphone from BlackBerry and a new Querty-bar smartphone.
Now talks about its specification. The new flagship smartphone comes with a 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 based on 14nm CPU coupled with 650MHz Adreno 506 GPU. Also packed with 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card. KEYone also featured with a 4.5-inch FullHD display with 3:2 ratio and has a pixel density of 433 PPI, scratch-resistant glass protection. In camera section, BlackBerry uses a 12MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, Sony IMX378 sensor and it also supports 4K video recording. An 8MP camera is used at the front with f/2.2 aperture.
BlackBerry included a 3505mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 supported. It runs on android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. In additional other specifications are 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS / GLONASS, NFC, USB 3.1 Type-C and fingerprint sensor. Its design with 4-row Physical QWERTY backlit keyboard with capacitive touch.
As the company announced at MWC, the KEYone will be available across the globe starting as early as April. This flagship premium device will be priced just at $ 549 .
